Wildcat reigns as New Hampshire’s King of Spring! When other ski areas have called it quits, Wildcat skiers are still hitting the slopes with fabulous Spring snow conditions. Thanks to the operations team’s hard work, Wildcat’s trails are in great shape and skiers can look forward to carving edge-to-edge turns well into the month of April.
At the time of writing this blog, 36 trails and 184 acres remain open for skiing and riding. Wildcat Mountain has announced that they will remain open on a daily basis through at least April 14th. Afterwards, they plan to operate on weekends only (weather permitting) until the end of the season in May. Wildcat was one of the first to open in New Hampshire and now plan to be the last to close.
This week’s weather forecast is calling for beautiful weather right through the weekend. Cold nights and sunny mild days are ideal for creating terrific spring skiing conditions.
On Saturday, April 13th, Wildcat will celebrate spring with their annual pond skimming contest. Registration will take place in the base lodge until 10:00 AM. Registration is free! The contest will begin at noon.
The Royalty Inn is close to Wildcat and is located just 10 miles away.
